So the human species is supposed to place its hope for survival in someone we’re told is a madman, who leads a state that feels besieged by the most powerful military coalition in history, apparently committed to its demise.

I'm astonished that so many seem oblivious to this very real potential.
I'm gobsmacked! I keep telling everyone, but they're too distracted to listen ...and anyway it's quite unbelievable that a bunch of thugs could murder and destroy a whole planet and its people .... I mean, this is real life, isn't it?
It is. The greedy humans and their puppet masters have destroyed humanity - with the help of some evil Others - five times already, as far as I know - most recently in Atlantis. I had hoped that with our collective memory from back then, we would do things differently. Blowing up life is madness. Old, belligerent men with one foot on the banana peel and nothing to lose.
The only way I can make sense of it all is to see it from the perspective of the soul, with these earthly experiences expanding it.
Added to that, many people are so stressed out to the point of wobbly sanity;
added to that there are cosmic events that are opening many to their clairs and higher powers;
added to that they then see and hear what is really going on around them;
added to that climate change is decimating life as we know it;
added to that we are facing an economic collapse that has hit Argentina, Sri Lanka, Lebanon, Pakistan and Ghana first. We only have to look at the effects in these countries to understand what is unfolding.
I could keep adding to this confluence of disasters - but I won't. We'll keep on keeping on at this second before midnight. I find it heartening how people's activism has freed Julian by putting pressure on politicians - which is why I hope more people will reach out to the most powerful politicians in their country to clearly state their concerns, facts and solutions.

He must step down sooner rather than later.
It signals the end of the US Empire regardless of who takes the top position. The emperor has no clothes which is obvious for all to see except those in the deepest denial including his family and inner circle. It's cruel and the price paid for the genocide of an entire people and other atrocities not all of his making.
