It is devastating to witness how deeply the Australian Labor Party, and much of our political establishment, has fallen under the influence of the Israeli lobby and pro-Zionist interests.
By aligning with a government responsible for the ongoing devastation in Gaza, our leaders make every Australian complicit in the suffering of innocent civilians; men, women, children, journalists, doctors, and humanitarians whose only ‘crime’ is compassion.
True leadership requires the courage to stand against injustice, even when it is politically inconvenient. Yet silence and compliance have prevailed where moral clarity should have been shown.
My deepest respect goes to the rare and courageous voices, across party lines, who have chosen conscience over career, truth over propaganda, and humanity over power.
Until the ALP, LNP, and others who enable these atrocities reclaim their moral compass, Australia cannot honestly call itself a nation of fairness or integrity.
