According to a new analysis, Trump has spent $101.2 million in taxpayer funds to go golfing at one of his properties. This is two-thirds of what he spent his first term on golfing and puts him on track to spend $300 MILLION by the end of his second term.

It’s just another reminder that the whole DOGE thing was nothing but a convenient excuse for Republicans to gut everything they could in order to have more money to spend on things like Trump’s golf tab.

Grift, robbery, and embezzlement is the Trump philosophy of financial management, and we need to make him pay back every single cent once we get him out of office and behind bars, where he belongs.

I write about compassionate care for the dying. I spend my days reflecting on how we can accompany one another through life’s most vulnerable moments with tenderness and dignity.

Then I read about Jawad Abu Nassar – a baby boy of 21 months – and I have no words adequate to express what I feel.

On 19 March 2026, his father Osama carried him on his shoulders, heading out to buy sweets before Eid, one of the most joyful and significant celebrations in the Islamic calendar, which follows Ramadan. Osama had already lost so much – his home, an unborn child, his livelihood. Neighbours watched, alarmed, as he walked east instead of west, towards the military zone. He was a man broken by trauma, carrying his child.

What happened next is documented by Middle East Eye, Al Jazeera, medical reports, and the family’s own testimony. Osama was ordered to put the baby down and approach a checkpoint. He was stripped and interrogated. Little Jawad – not yet two years old – was returned to his family ten hours later with burns on his legs consistent with cigarettes, and a wound consistent with a nail. Two doctors confirmed these injuries were not caused by weapons or shrapnel.

His father remains detained. His 19-year-old mother has no information about his whereabouts or whether he is alive.

I feel helpless. I feel heartbroken. But I also know that silence in the face of a child’s documented suffering is a choice – and not one I am willing to make.

Over time, I've developed intentional practices to protect my equilibrium and stay anchored in the world I believe most of us are truly striving towards, even as we navigate the turbulence created by fear, ignorance, and unchecked greed.

My daily rhythm includes deep contemplation, meditation, grounding, conscious breathing, and gentle movement. I immerse myself in beauty every day – birdsong, music I love, and moments of real stillness. These aren't luxuries; they're necessities.

I've also become very deliberate about what I allow into my awareness. I no longer expose myself to repetitive, fear-driven narratives, and I stepped away from mainstream media some time ago. There's a difference between staying informed and being continuously saturated – and that distinction has been quietly life-changing for me.

Alongside all this, I pour energy into creative work I'm deeply passionate about, which nourishes both my soul and my sense of purpose and service.

And yet, I keep returning here. Because despite everything swirling through the airwaves, I genuinely believe that meaningful change will rise from ordinary people at a grassroots level, not from those in positions of power who are increasingly insulated from the consequences of their own decisions.

You are not wrong to want both truth and a high vibration. In fact, I feel that's exactly the combination the world needs most right now.

It’s the Atlantean’s, demanding their other go, behind this. A failed race, because they misused energy, technology and power, destroying themselves in it the first time. They learnt nothing from it. But with service to self races such as these, it will be the collateral of damage and harm it causes all of us that we will need to contend with. It is up to the Americans to vote blue in the mid terms to change this around. The lessor of two evils I am sorry to say. I have been a lifelong, committed Labor voter, but I can no longer support what I see as its compliance with, or acquiescence to, powerful Zionist and US Republican influences that continue to fuel devastating wars, support brutal regimes, and prioritise power, land, and resources over human life. Too much of our world is being torn apart by violence, deception, and political cowardice.

Like many others, I feel deeply disappointed – even betrayed – by political structures I once trusted. Yet disappointment can also be a turning point. It can be the moment when disengagement transforms into discernment.

My hope now is that the Greens continue to expand their reach and maturity as a genuinely visionary political force, capable of fielding enough strong candidates to become a credible governing influence. Australia needs leadership grounded not only in intelligence and competence, but in courage, compassion, ethical clarity, and long-term thinking. With the support of principled and thoughtful Independents, perhaps a new political balance can emerge – one that places humanity, integrity, and the future of the the people and planet at its centre.

These are the men Trump selected as his special envoys to negotiate with Iran – one of the most complex and consequential diplomatic assignments in the world.

In early 2026, the two held indirect talks with Iranian officials in Geneva, mediated by Oman. Their conclusion – that Iran was employing 'games, tricks and stall tactics' and had stockpiled enough enriched uranium for up to eleven nuclear bombs – was delivered to a president already predisposed to military action.
