European Heatwave – Late June 2026

The record-breaking heatwave that swept across Europe from mid-to-late June 2026 has been one of the most intense ever recorded for the month, driven by a strong high-pressure system and amplified by climate change.

Worst-Affected Countries
France — The hardest hit overall. Multiple all-time and June temperature records were shattered (peaks above 44°C), with around 1,000 excess deaths reported during the peak days. Red alerts covered much of the country, schools closed, and emergency services were overwhelmed.
Spain — Extremely severe in the south and interior, with highs reaching 45.1°C. Hundreds of heat-related deaths were recorded, alongside wildfires and infrastructure strain.
Germany — New national record of 41.7°C, with widespread impacts on rail, power, and health. The heat shifted eastward, intensifying effects here and in neighbouring areas.
Czechia, Poland, and Hungary — All set new national or June records (Czechia at 41.9°C), with extreme heat warnings and rising health risks as the dome moved east.

Overall Toll: The WHO has linked over 1,300 excess deaths across Europe to the heat since June 21, mostly among the elderly and vulnerable. Nighttime temperatures remained dangerously high, preventing recovery.

As I read Mark A. Shryock's GAIA SPEAKS: A READER ASKS HOW THE 3D TO 5D SPLIT CAN OCCUR WITH SUCH WEALTH AND INEQUALITY IN THE WORLD, this image with all its rich symbology came to my mind's eye.

The journey of ascension through the dimensions: the beanstalk is the living bridge, transforming as it rises, while the person embodies the soul’s courageous evolution from the dense, grounded 3D experience, through the fluid and intuitive astral 4D realms, into the expansive, luminous wisdom and light of 5D. The question asked was: Where are you on the beanstalk?

Life changing information - Jane Roberts channelled Seth, and her husband Robert Butts transcribed nearly all her numerous sessions. In the deleted or personal Seth sessions from the early 1970s - primarily in The Personal Sessions Books 1–2, Seth expands on the fluid, non-linear nature of time and the existence of 'probable pasts.'

He teaches that the past is not fixed or singular but consists of multiple probable versions, just as the present and future do. By shifting beliefs, focus, and emotional associations in the present 'Point of Power,' individuals can literally alter the effects and even the experienced nature of their personal past – reprogramming neuronal patterns, activating beneficial probable events that 'could still happen' in one's history, and diminishing the hold of negative ones.

This material, kept private at the time for its intimate application to Jane and Rob's lives, vividly illustrates how we select from a vast field of probabilities, allowing healing, creative rewriting of personal history, and greater freedom from outdated limitations. Happily Settled in Castlemaine

Castlemaine is in west-central Victoria in the heart of the Goldfields region, about 123 km northwest of Melbourne. This charming historic gold rush town has grand 19th-century architecture, vibrant arts and cultural scenes, thriving local markets, and a fantastic, creative community atmosphere. It's a delightful blend of my kind of people, heritage charm, excellent food, beautiful surrounding landscapes, and a lively, welcoming spirit. I settled here for good in mid-January – a very good move indeed.

Disclosure Day

A gentle reminder: Steven Spielberg makes films, not documentaries. He tells stories.

Disclosure Day is already doing something valuable – encouraging people to think, question, and discuss the possibility of extraterrestrial life and its influence on our world.

After decades of reading and research, I have no difficulty imagining that, just as among humans, there may be many different forms of intelligent life – some beneficent, some maleficent.

However, perhaps the most interesting revelations are not about extraterrestrials at all. How we respond to differing views often reveals far more about us than about the mystery itself.

Outrage generates heat; wisdom invites understanding. Curiosity, humility, and respectful dialogue are qualities worth cultivating, whatever our beliefs and views may be.

Australia is being drawn further into US-aligned defence priorities, with rising military expenditure and an expanded US military presence on Australian soil. Defence spending for 2025–26 is projected at approximately AUD $63.2 billion.

At what point does a nation that invests so heavily in war also invest with equal seriousness in peace — even to the point of establishing a Ministry of Peace with equivalent commitment?

A genuinely democratic approach would also invite citizens to help shape practical, constructive peace initiatives.

Roy Valentine, son of James Valentine and Joanne Corrigan, along with his sister Ruby, delivered moving and humorous tributes at the public memorial service held at Sydney Town Hall.

James Valentine, the longtime ABC Sydney broadcaster and musician, died on 20 April 2026 at the age of 64 after choosing voluntary assisted dying (VAD) following a cancer diagnosis. The memorial was a public celebration of his life, with Roy's contribution noted for its humour, wisdom, honesty, and reflections on his father's approach to living and dying

Director: Steven Spielberg.
Key actors: Emily Blunt as Margaret Fairchild, a TV meteorologist, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, and Colman Domingo.
Spielberg also produced the film with Kristie Macosko Krieger. It’s scheduled for theatrical release on June 12, 2026.
