Dear Friends, As we approach the December Solstice and the turning of the season and year, many of us naturally pause and reflect. This has been a year of significant energies, speedy changes and even greater contrasts: health, work, housing, relationships, friendships, beliefs, and the steady release of what no longer belongs in our lives. Wherever you find yourself right now, you’re not imagining it – this year has demanded much from us. For me, my eightieth year has been the most physically challenging year I’ve ever known. While the world is asking us to become stronger, clearer, and more embodied, my body has been calling me inward – firmly, wisely, and without negotiation. So I’m listening. In honouring what feels like my highest good, I’ve stepped back from the noise of mainstream narratives and from social media. Not from life, my blog and certainly not from meaning, but from anything that draws energy away from healing, recalibration, and quiet integration. I don’t yet know how long this pause will last. What I do know is that we are living in times that call for discernment, resilience, and deep self-care. We are fortunate to have extraordinary teachers, guides, and wayshowers offering insight into these transitions, and I’ll continue sharing their wisdom through my blog for anyone who feels called: https://www.clarityforlife.training/blog If you’ve been feeling tender, exhausted, or quietly rearranged by this year, please know you’re not behind – you’re becoming. These themes have been provided for decades, such as 2025 as a year of releases (leading into broader cycles) and 2029 as The Year of Receiving (described as a culmination of receiving energies in a new 'Matrix of Magics'. For 2026, Lazaris calls it The Year of Manifestation. This theme emphasises bringing intentions into physical reality through aligned action, healing, and co-creation with higher self and universal energies. Let December be your season of gentle landings: forgive what needs forgiving, celebrate what deserves celebrating, and release who and what you've been holding that was never yours to keep. Close 2025 with gratitude, and step into 2026 knowing you are ready, you are worthy, and you are loved.
The head of the Swiss right-to-die organisation Dignitas has ended his life through an assisted death, the group has said. Ludwig Minelli, who founded the group in 1998, died on Saturday, days before his 93rd birthday, Dignitas said. It added: “Right up to the end of his life, he continued to search for further ways to help people to exercise their right to freedom of choice and self-determination in their ‘final matters’ – and he often found them.”
