The focus of the emotionally immature
It’s a hard truth: the United States has never truly been at peace. War is not a rare interruption, but the constant rhythm of a system designed to profit from conflict.
At the centre of this system are five powerful defence giants: Lockheed Martin, Boeing, General Dynamics, Northrop Grumman and RTX (formerly Raytheon Technologies). These corporations have the closest links to US military spending, and their profits grow every time 'national defence' is used as a rallying cry.
But they don’t just build tanks, fighter planes or missiles. They help shape foreign policy. They exert pressure on heads of state and government to increase military budgets — not only in the USA, but even with allies such as Australia. For them, conflict is a business model.
We Can Choose Another Way
This cycle is not inevitable. Another path is always possible. Those of us who feel compassion, who put people before profit, who believe in peace — WE have the power.
It takes emotional courage, moral clarity and a refusal to accept a system in which war is normalised. We must demand leaders who reject militarism for profit and who prioritise diplomacy, kindness and justice over corporate contracts.
What Each of Us Can Do
* Speak up: write, protest, vote and speak your truth.
* Learn and share knowledge so that the war machine is seen for what it is.
* Hold both governments and corporations accountable for their decisions.
* Only societies that are emotionally mature — societies that value human life above all else — can put an end to this horrendously destructive cycle.

Gaza 2035 Master Plan
A three-phase economic redevelopment vision transforming Gaza into a "Gaza-Arish-Sderot Free Trade Zone" with tech hubs, factories, electric vehicle manufacturing, resorts, and connectivity to Egypt's El-Arish port and Israel's Sderot. It envisions Gaza as a "Mediterranean Dubai" under a consortium of Gulf states, the US, and Israel, with favourable taxes to attract investors.
Israeli Prime Minister's Office (Netanyahu/Likud); influenced by US and Gulf ideas (e.g., similar to NEOM in Saudi Arabia). No specific design firm named, but AECOM (global infrastructure firm) has prior involvement in Gaza/West Bank water projects and was linked to a 2017 "Connected Gaza" plan.
Unveiled May 3, 2025; first official Israeli master plan post-October 2023. Not yet implemented; focuses on post-Hamas governance. Estimated cost: Tens of billions; critics call it a "colonial fantasy" enabling displacement.
Gaza Riviera / GREAT Trust
A 10-year US-led plan to relocate Palestinians (offering $5,000 incentives), clear debris, and remake Gaza as a tourism, manufacturing, and "smart-city" hub with skyscrapers, solar farms, and luxury real estate. Presented as a "prosperous Abrahamic ally" under US trusteeship.
Gaza Reconstitution, Economic Acceleration and Transformation Trust (GREAT); developed by Israeli figures from the Tachlith Institute and Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), with input from Boston
Consulting Group (BCG) and Tony Blair Institute.
Leaked September 1, 2025; presented to Trump, Rubio, Kushner, and Witkoff on August 27, 2025. Dismissed by Palestinians as "insane" ethnic cleansing cover; involves private contractors for security and aid.
