Recently, I sat with dear friends and watched stunning footage from the James Webb and Hubble telescopes - and marvelled at the majesty. Here's a snapshot: a composite of Hubble images of the Andromeda galaxy, just 2.5 million light years away. This mosaic reveals the brilliance of 200 million stars, just a fraction of the galaxy's total population.
Can we even begin to imagine the immense number of intelligent life forms out there? I do believe that in galactic terms, we earthlings are still in nappies and many of us have just taken our first miraculous steps. Bravo.
