However, this turbulent time is a necessary step towards transforming our world. The corruption, greed and moral decay that have plagued our civilisation for millennia must crumble before people like you and me can rebuild and shape a New Earth — a world based on justice, love, compassion and creativity.
All over the world, pockets of good people are already living the dream. They have crafted their own blueprints for existence, seeking to live in harmony with the earth, the animals and each other. Their actions are a beacon of hope and inspiration. I implore you to look around and reflect: have you created the life you want for yourself and your loved ones? If so, you are a source of inspiration that encourages others to do the same.
Unfortunately, the fate of our world seems to hinge on the upcoming US election, scheduled for 5 November, although it is uncertain whether it will even take place. The two main candidates for the most influential office on the planet are deeply flawed and unfit for office. One candidate is burdened by age and forgetfulness, making him incapable of holding office. The other is a materialistic reality star who has a devoted following that hangs on his every vacuous word, which is a dangerous level of idolatry. And that's just the US. There are 194 other countries, many of which now lean towards ultra-conservativism and fundamentalist religiosity.
In the midst of this chaos, the search for true inner peace could be our starting point. There is no time to waste. By cultivating a life of creativity, love and contentment for ourselves and the people in our homes and on our travels, we can create an oasis of joy and positivity. Let us extend these qualities to our loved ones and the community in which we live. In the midst of darkness, there is a beautiful glow on the horizon — a glimmer of hope. It represents the birth of a new earth that we are creating together with the guidance and support of many unseen ones.
