Smaller, often undisclosed contributions come from countries such as the United Kingdom and Australia.
Without these resources - cutting-edge weaponry, intelligence and funding - the Israeli military could not sustain its relentless bombing campaign.
Meanwhile, the human cost is staggering. According to Gaza's health authorities, more than 45,000 Palestinians have died, with many more wounded and starving. In a single year, there have been nearly 13,000 military operations in Gaza, 10,000 in Lebanon and hundreds in Syria, resulting in tens of thousands of casualties.
We are not just dealing with a geopolitical situation, but with a profound humanitarian crisis. Insignificant humanitarian efforts are dwarfed by the scale of the destruction. Western taxpayers' money, often spent without full transparency, is contributing directly to this suffering.
We, the people, must demand accountability:
Push for an immediate halt to arms exports.
End complicity in surveillance and intelligence sharing.
Redirect funds to peace-building measures, humanitarian aid and just solutions.
There is hope in truth, wisdom, transparency and responsibility.
