Pray with me for the countless innocent children, women and men around the world who suffer hardship, pain and anguish. Pray for their strength, resilience and deliverance wherever they are and whatever they are going through.
Let us remember the victims, the marginalised and oppressed and pray for their protection, healing and restoration of dignity. Let us also pray for an end to the harmful practises and exploitation that rob many of their innocence and freedom.
Let us stand in solidarity for their relief, recovery and restoration of their rights to achieve the peace and justice they rightly deserve.
There are also other actions we can take, such as donating to reputable charities, volunteering or educating people about the problems of these unfortunate people.

The escalating conflicts we are witnessing around the world, led by leaders of countries, terrorists and warmongers, threaten to cost the lives of millions of innocent people. The devastation they wreak leaves nothing but agony, death, rubble and ash in their wake.
Every day we witness the powerful impact of words, whether spoken or written. These words influence interactions in families, among friends, between colleagues and countries. They shape discourse in debates, forums and texts. The power that words wield is immense, and therefore they must be used responsibly and kindly.
Pick your battles, because not every disagreement is worth your time and energy. Be prepared to forgive and know when to let something go. Humour can also be a useful tool for conflict resolution. It can help to express difficult points without hurting the other party, as long as the humour is used to reduce tension and reframe issues rather than belittle the other person.
