Stuart Wilde talks about this. He says the first liberation is where you make peace with the world and allow those who have hurt you to go on their way. You forgo the story of your life. When you keep running battles with others you stay linked to them. You can't rise above them until you let them go.

The next liberation is ditching what you were born with. ..the cluster that bound you. So you release social or tribal clusters that trap you. Go beyond your religious, social and tribal karma. Become instead an eternal being---loving , evolving and spiritual.

The third liberation is to go beyond the injustices suffered by the planet. If you are too sensitive the pain of the world will bother you to no end. Of course you have to have compassion for the suffering and dedicate yourself to help those you come across. There is evil in the collective human shadow and we just saw that in Vegas. But all we can do is process our own darkness. We cannot let ourselves get overwhelmed by the global situation. That is why we don't even have TV.
