Take the time to prioritise and plan your next best decisions for 2020 and beyond. | The weather challenges are relentless in Australia. First came the one of the longest droughts, then the most destructive fires ever recorded on Earth, then came the winds to blow more fertile topsoil away and now we have floods in many areas causing chaos and extreme damage. Over 100mm of rain has fallen in just a few hours in some places. I'm near the flooded town of Byron Bay which has recorded over 280mm its heaviest fall in 47 years. Remarkable because there isn't a river or creek in town. This map just for NSW gives an idea of how widespread the drenching rains are. See the extent of some flooding in this link |
