Two thousand years ago Enlightened Master Jesus had a final meal with his disciples. Life and culture were very different in those times and it appears the bible was written with a quill and ink! Religion in general still perpetrates archaic laws written by fallible men who may not have had the ability to transcribe the authentic teachings of Jesus. The bible may be largely parables, metaphor and personal agendas of the authors. 

Sadly the horrors of religious war, pedophilia, economic greed, male supremacy and misogyny, invasive land grabs, and resources grabs perpetrated in Jesus' name continue to this day. This begs the question: How valid or outmoded are religions of all types in contemporary society?
