Simon Parkes' latest post didn’t come as a huge surprise. The frenzy being whipped up by members of opposing political parties is crazy and dangerous. Far-right conservatives took me on big time on Facebook this week for supporting Greta and the millions of Climate Change activists, and for also questioning their use of the word 'socialism' in relation to the Democratic Party. Many became very abusive so I unfriended over 20 and blocked several. What surprised me was that many are intelligent spiritual people. They irrationally dumped scorn when I pointed out the danger of extreme conservatism verging on fascism/dictatorships as witnessed in the political mayhem in Australia, UK, USA, Brazil, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Romania, Sweden etc
USA is a gun culture which makes this all the more terrifying. The knee jerk and egoic need to be 'right' and lash out at anyone who doesn't agree with their position - often naive with senseless 'logic' - obviously takes precedence over goodwill, tolerance, understanding and unity.

- Fact Check. Proceed carefully and double-check your facts before passing on dubious or inflammatory material.
