Be water savvy. Millions are affected by polluted water or lack of water. Widespread rationing in numerous countries will come more severe. People, animals, fish and crops are dying. Droughts are causing rivers to diminish and some cases totally dry up. The Yangtze is the world's third largest river. It has been reduced to puddles in places which is affecting hundreds of millions.
If in an area with water shortages we must all reconsider our use of water. Simple things like turning off the tap when brushing your teeth or shaving, modifying your use of the hose, washing vegetables in a bowl, fixing any leaks, timing your shower to be less than five minutes long, re-using grey water, putting a bottle filled with sad or stones in your toilet tank, use dishwasher and washing machine for full loads only, repurposing some lawn, mulching around trees and plants, using a broom or leaf-blower to clean driveways and steps, using a bucket not a hose while washing your car, installing a rainwater tank, .... you get the drift
