| | While the 'news' churns out endless negative scenarios of covid19 on a looped running commentary of deaths, stress, challenges and restrictions - which may well be true, even though they suppress the numbers of recoveries and huge increase in suicides and family violence, I marvel at the incredible resilience and service by so many working at the coal face of the problems. I have enormous gratitude for all those doing the work from medical personnel to essential services, psychologists and delivery people. |
I am yet to come across discussions of a post-covid world and know that many of the restrictions and surveillance put in place will stay in place just as harsh 'security' issues have not been lifted after the 9:11 detonations of the World Trade Centre.
I also marvel at the extraordinary creativity of family and friends. I note my passions have deepened with a more intense focus on my objectives for this phase of my life - much of which is obvious by what I share here. New Realities - Awakening to Who We Truly Are at a Cosmic Level
It seems unlikely to me that the mask-wearing, on-again-off-again lock-ups, COVID restrictions, and growing stress, poverty, family violence and riots will be overcome for at least the next two years. Add to that we may expect an increase in storms, hail, flooding, crop failures, plagues, earthquakes and volcanoes. If this is so, we must each assess how to excel in what we are doing by making the most of what we have.
What we do have are remarkable human bodies, imaginations, talents and skills - many of which are as yet untapped. Consider taking all your senses and abilities to the highest possible level. It serves little purpose to yearn for what once was except for the warm fuzzies of lovely memories. Let's determine to go forward with confidence and utilise our time building thoroughly joyful lives, households and communities.
