On September 27, while on my daily walk and checking out the neighbourhood of a prospective house to rent, I tripped on a raised section of pavement. I fell so heavily that all my left side, especially my ribs, arm, hip and cheek, were bruised and severely impacted. I spent the following day in hospital emergency having tests. I have a high pain threshold, but my ribs' pain was excruciating though the attending doctor was more concerned about my neck and head. Scans showed no damage there.
The bruising and some immobility caused by the ribs made house-hunting difficult. However, I fortuitously secured a rental property in Adelaide where dozens of applicants apply for houses when they become available at exorbitant prices. Another applicant for my property offered an extra $30 a week in a desperate attempt to secure housing. I met his offer and was successful, possibly because I used every skill in my kitbag, went to the inspection early, and once again fortuitously met the owners who were doing some last-minute repairs and sprucing up the garden. We had a convivial chat.
Yesterday, three and a half weeks of self-care after the initial fall, I felt well enough to take a gentle 4-kilometre walk and practice my determination to be observant of every footfall. I stayed focused on the pavement as workers had also been renewing sections of underground gas pipes under the footpaths. I was so proud of myself that all went so well, and then just 50 metres from my new home, I had another IDENTICAL fall on uneven paving - which has renewed the pain and put me out of action yet again.
I've been buying new appliances and furniture mostly online for my home. Last evening, when I apologised to the delivery man for why I could not help, he was astonished and told me of five other people he had been speaking with recently who also spoke about their unusual falls.
During a sleepless night last night, I crafted a silent question about my falls to Penny and posted it to the psychic internet. I’m so grateful that Kris so kindly asked it for me in real time. I'd also been asking the Universe for clarity about how I can best assist others during the coming chaos.
I too had searched for the esoteric meanings of FALLS, yet none of the interpretations had the ping that Penny's did - "Witness the fall of something that involves a lot of people.
