I'm VERY interested in the 'why now?' I'm aware of the Cosmic Law of Non-Interference - though tell that to the dracos!!!! - mostly, in practice, interference doesn't happen unless it threatens other planets and off-planet lifeforms. So there's the rub! - 'leaders' won't be permitted to blow ourselves up OR other planets and life aka "dominate space". the evil ones promoting this will get their comeuppance.
So, I think the leaders and militaries that continue to build nuclear and other weaponry will NOT be permitted to use them - even though they could blow up lots of our solar system with what they already stockpile.
I'm HOPEFUL many of us are going to be trained in peaceful protocols for working with ET
AND I feel we'll see all manner of new technology - particularly in the fields of health, energy, food production, travel and trade.
